February 7

Real frosty but no sunshine. Went up and told Violet that she could ride to Sunday-school. We stopped at Mabel's and took them. Went down home afterwards. Had one hundred out this morning. Kopes were down home this p.m. Larna went home. Raining some tonight.

February 6

Cleaned all the house up. Washed windows. Made biscuits for breakfast and had real good luck. The folks went to town this afternoon, so I baked the bread and made four pies. Received a letter from R.R. Studied the Sunday-school lesson.

February 5

Sun shining bright and ground was froze a while. Did the work and read the papers. Made a half-batch of mince meat cookies. Cut out and pieced two quilt blocks this afternoon and evening. Lots warmer.

February 4

The wind has blown hard all day. Real dark and cloudy and is rather cool tonight. Made a belt for my black, spotted dress. Also made myself a new waist band. Violet and Bill were down tonight.

February 3

Helped to do the house work, did some patching and read the papers. An old sow tried to eat Ora's sweater, so I had to patch and darn it up. Violet was down this afternoon. Getting cooler. Set another hen tonight.

February 2

Rained last night and the snow is all gone. Did the ironing and traded with the huxter. Did some patching and put clothes away. Bill Ringer was down and got a hair cut. Set two hens tonight. Violet's nephew started to school today.

FEBRUARY 1, 1932

Real cold and ground froze hard. Did the washing. Went to the committee meeting and we all visited Wanda's afterwards. Lots warmer.
